Buried Treasure (Preview) - Now Available

Buried Treasure uses AI to extract data from PDFs of borehole logs and certificates of analysis.  

Upload your PDFs and the AI tool extracts the data. Users check the data and edit if needed and then download as Excel or AGS. This means you can import AGS data into your tool of choice. The same data is available in Excel to search, filter, sort, import into QGIS etc.

Purchase a subscription here.  Subscriptions are flexible – subscribe when you need it. cancel when you don’t. take out a new subscription (perhaps in a different band) when the next project arrives. The different subscription bands provide access to different numbers of credits.  You can find out more about how credits are calculated here.

Example Outputs

Excellent extraction of the geology from a fairly standard borehole log from around 2010.

 

 

 

Here is an example from a PDF of a certificate of analysis. The model got the correct results and the correct limit of detection (showing as MDL). It even got the correct depth from a slightly obscure location.

 

And here is an older borehole log.   The quality of the log affects the quality of the output, but the geology from this 1990 log has extracted well.

Features

Buried Treasure is designed to be simple and quick whilst keeping things flexible for the user.

Where project details are available on the log, they will be automatically extracted.  Or the user can decide on their own Project Name and Project number.

 

 

Both Text based and image based (scanned) PDFs can be processed.

 

 

 

 

If there are mistakes, you can fix them easily with the onboard editing tools.

 

 

 

 

And there's filtering too, useful when checking long certificates of analysis.
