Dose-Response Roadmaps (DRR) Registration Course (Licence holders only)

The LQM/CIEH Dose Response Roadmaps are a tool to assist local authorities and their advisors to determine whether a “significant possibility of significant harm” (SPOSH) is likely to exist as defined in Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act, 1990. The Roadmaps are available under license.

This Registration Course is for delegates from currently licensed organisations only who wish to understand what the Roadmaps are, how they can be used and how they support decisions under Part 2A.

This course should not be booked if you do not have a current licence.

This DRR Registration Course comprises of the following five pre-recorded webinars, a practical exercise followed-up by a live interactive webinar with LQM [approx running time]

  3. How the LQM/CIEH Dose Response Roadmaps work [17 mins]
  4. Navigating your way through a Dose Response Roadmap [8 mins]
  5. LQM/CIEH Dose Response Roadmaps Practical Excercise Outline [9 mins]
  6. Live interactive webinar [date and time to be agreed following payment]

The pre-recorded webinars provide the background to the relevant legislation and regulatory framework, how the LQM/CIEH Dose Response Roadmaps were developed and outline to the toxicology information sources and workings of the Roadmaps and how you can apply these to your site specific situations.

For the practical exericse you will be provided with instructions of what is required and a set of Roadmaps for a dummy contaminant.

You will need a PC, laptop or equivalent capable of running GoToWebinar and MS Excel with the CLEA 1.071 spreadsheet already loaded and ready to use

Full instructions will be sent to each delegate and a date and time for the live interactive webinar with LQM will be agreed following payment.

  • how they can be used
  • how they support decisions under Part 2A
  • complete the first part of becoming a Registered User

In order to complete the DRR Registration Course and become a licensed registered user you will also need to complete an additional practical exercise and attend a live interactive feedback webinar.
