Most of us are normally concerned with traditional contaminants, such as lead, arsenic and benzo[a]pyrene, but there are a growing number of emerging environmental contaminants around the corner. We are all likely to become increasingly familiar with many of them as governments and regulators begin to try to control their effects on health and the environment. One of these emerging contaminants, is PFAS; a family of persistent, bioaccumulatory and toxic chemicals that
have been widely used in industry and in firefighting applications.
LQM are collaborating with consultants GHD to present a seminar on PFAS in London on July 5, 2017. The seminar will harness the knowledge of two industry experts Dr Paul Nathanail (LQM) and Dr Peter Nadebaum (GHD) and will be of interest to a wide range of delegates including local authorities, regulators, problem holders and developers.
Full details of the event and booking details can be found on GHD’s website
