Duncan Scott has recently joined LQM as an Environmental Scientist with 4 years postgraduate experience in the field of contaminated land risk management.
His postgraduate research has focused on the development of operating windows for technically feasible monitored natural attenuation (MNA) of petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated groundwater for use during options appraisal. As part of this work he has presented findings at several international conferences on contaminated land assessment and remediation.
Relevant project experience includes site investigation
and controlled waters risk assessment using the Environment Agency’s Remedial
Targets Methodology and ConSim.
